Euroshelves - Conquering new markets with new products
Euroshelves, with this investment project, will focus on its internationalization as a way to promote itself in the global market.
From the Action Plan results the following strategic lines of action in foreign markets:
- Strengthening its presence in existing markets through new products: Spain, Mozambique, Angola and Morocco
- Penetrating new markets: France
- Increasing sales abroad
The period initially set for implementation of the project was May 1, 2012 to April 30, 2014. They were later given another six months to conclude the Project, which was finished on October 20, 2014.
Under the application submitted, a total investment of 137,851.60 euros was approved, of which 136,546.60 euros corresponded to eligible costs. The incentive given is catogorized as a non-refundable incentive in the amount of 78,254.54 euros
Implementation and manufacturing of a new product: Mobile Shelves
This new product, mobile shelves, is an innovative concept of archiving solutions for offices, offering more advantages than shelves. Although the structure of the firm is prepared to produce this new product, there are still some processes that need to be improved, namely the coating process. Mobile shelves can be moved separatery or more than one at a time, creating a corridor where necessary and decreasing the effort of the users.
The period set for the implementation of the project was 1 July 2012 to 30 June 2014. They were subsequently given another three months to complete the Project, which was concluded on September 30, 2014.
Under the application submitted, a total investment of 763,602.86 euros was approved, of which 763,122.86 euros corresponded to eligible costs. The incentive given to this application consists of the following:
- Refundable Amount: 563,167.64 euros;
- Non-Refundable Amount: 9174.51 euros.
